My ex girlfriend says she gave birth to our baby and sent her off for adoption what can i do ?

we been split for 3 months noiw and she was pregnant the last time i saw her last month after making her mad again she told me she gave birth to a baby girl and within tha last weeek she sent her off for adoption.Whats tha quickest way i can find out if she telling the truth.If she did give birth her name would have to be on a birth certificate for the lil girl.Ilive in texas.I want to find out in ! day if she telling tha truth all of this would have taken place this month so it shouldnt be that hard.I know my ex girl full name and birth month and year.So i need Somebody who know's what theyr talking about to tell me who to go to that will tell me yes she gave birth to a girl or boy in march 2011 or no she didnt.If she is telling the truth she has no right to do that no matter what.If its True i wanna find the child DNA test and if its mine im tha babys papi lol.! clear Answer.Texas dept of health human services who do i go to that works for TEXAS that can tell me same day or less that all help is welcolm? Hi, You need to register on the Texas Putative Father's Registry immediately, You can pick-up a form from the places listed below. You only have 31 days from birth to file !
I would also hire an attorney.

The birthfather must be notified of birthmother’s plans to place baby for
adoption, either personally, by service or publication. Reasonable efforts
must be made to locate the father. In Texas, there is a “paternity registry”
where a putative father can assert paternity.

First off you have rights as the father. No child can be legally adopted without both parents consents. Unless she lied and said she didn't know who the father was? I would go to your local courthouse and try to get records on the birth of the baby and the adoption. Also I would hire a good lawyer. You need a lawyer who specializes in family law and you need one yesterday.
Wow i would give her a call. Try to ask some of her friends. if she put your child up for adoption then you would of been contacted. unless she just left the baby at the hospital. Add up your months and make sure the months are adding up. They have no choice but to try 3 times to contact the father.
