What effect does relative phimosis have on having sex?

Is there anybody suffering from it who could tell me a bit more about it? A friend of mine just told me he has it and being a girl I am unsure just how foreskin problems effect sex, since I don't have a foreskin. Any information on the subject would be much welcome. What effect does relative phimosis have on having sex?Phimosis is the condition in which the foreskin is too tight to freely retract over the rim of the glans both when flaccid and after erection.

If the foreskin cannot be fully retracted when flaccid it is impossible to wash properly under it to remove the waste product called smegma. An accumulation of smegma leads to offensive smells as well as predisposing one to bacterial or fungal infections. Few women would ever perform oral sex on a phimotic penis because of the accumulated smegma.

The foreskin also needs to be able to be retracted when erect for the proper fitting of a condom. More importantly, the foreskin should be retracted before the penis is inserted into the vagina. If the foreskin is still covering the glans then there will be no direct contact between the glans and the wall of the vagina. The man will thus effectively masturbate himself inside his foreskin whilst giving little or no stimulation to the female - for whom sex is therefore unsatisfactory and unfulfilling.

During the thrusting of sex, an unretracted foreskin can be forced back over the rim of the glans and tear with very painful, extremely bloody and highly embarrassing consequences.

Phimosis cannot usually be cured by attempting to stretch the foreskin as doing so takes it beyond its natural elastic limit and creates minute tears in the thin inner layer. These tears heal to scar tissue which is even less elastic than the tight surrounding skin, thus making the situation worse rather than better. The only sure and permanent cure for phimosis is the simple external operation of circumcision. What effect does relative phimosis have on having sex? It's just phimosis. It means his foreskin is too tight to retract while soft and hard or just while hard.

He shouldn't be having sex while he has it as that can cause the foreskin to completely tear, or get microtears in it which when they heal will only make the skin tighter.

He needs to do some foreskin stretching excercises to loosen it up. He should just get a full erection, then pull the skin as far back as he can WITHOUT pain and hold it there for 5-10 minutes and do that three times a day. It should start stretching out in a couple weeks.

He should be working on fixing it now, before it becomes an issue.
