I'm 12 weeks pregnant and have refrained from telling anyone other than my hubby and two family members that I am pregnant due to a miscarriage last year and early complications with this pregnancy. Hubby and I have decided to tell his family and the rest of my family for Christmas and have been thinking of ideas of how to tell them. The idea that we have come up with for his parents is to get a card for "Grandma and Grandpa" and wrapping a pair of booties and socks and a few other small things with an ultrasound picture with a note saying something along the lines of "these items of clothing are reserved for (names we picked for baby girl and baby boy) due to arrive on or around June 15, 2011." Thoughts on this idea? Does anyone have any idea's they'd like to share that we can consider?
Also, any idea's of how to tell his sisters and other family members such a Aunt's and Uncles and Cousins? Some of them we will just tell but some of them we are very close to and would like to do something special for them as well.Announcing pregnancy during Christmas?
When my best friend got pregnant, we went to walmart and bought a bib that said "i love grandma" on it, and gave that to her mom. It was so cute and words weren't required, but she knew what it meant. There's bibs and outfits that also say "i love auntie" and stuff like that too, so finding something for a particular family member wouldn't be too hard. * if you are all gathering around at Christmas dinner or something, ask to pray and end it with "and may the Lord bless my wife in her pregnancy" or something like that. My cousin did that and we all started screaming!

alright, my husband and i are not going to find out the sex of the baby, we are due may 23,2011. we narrowed it down to 3 boy names and 3 girl names. please just chose from the names i list, and dont be rude, and do not give me a list of names that are not part of the 6 i said.

What should I do about my baby daddy?
I am 17 and my boyfriend is almost 19 and I am 33 weeks pregnant with a little boy and I am due on July 11th,2011 however, lately (as in thee past 5 months) my boyfriend has not wanted to hangout with me/ spend time with me AT ALL. It is always me bugging him to come and spend time with me. All he does is go hangout with his friends EVERY DAY. And now I am just fed up with it and I don't know what to do. I honestly feel like not talking to him or even giving him any my attention. He wants to be apart of naming the baby and giving thee baby HIS last name but, I don't even wanna do that and I feel bad. Should I? What should I do???What should I do about my baby daddy?
if hes not showing any interest in you, then hes not showing any interest in your unborn baby either. if he wants to be involved with your baby boy then he needs to start being involved now. he should have been involved throughout the whole pregnancy. if i were in your situation, i would take this as a sign of how things are going to be when the baby comes. don't do anything you don't want to do. give the baby your last name if that's what you want. if he actually decides to be a real man and a father, you can change the last name later if you want. its easy to do. don't waste your time on someone that isn't willing to be there for you when you need it... and especially while you're pregnant with their child.

He is likely acting that way because he is starting to realize that his life IS NOT going to EVER be the same. He's being selfish, worrying about how much fun he has and how he feels and HIS life- Not thinking about how YOUR life has and is about to change. Tell him that until he is a prt of the pregnancy (going shopping for baby things w/ you, going to your baby shower at the end, spening time w/ you, etc), that you don't think he should have a say in the name and you have been thinking of giving the baby YOUR last name since he's never around. It sounds like he's being a typical immature boy and panicking now. However, that baby did not ask to be conceived, and will need a mother AND a father to take care of it.
P.S- Don't listen to the negative people who say you're screwed or you'll struggle financially. I have a 3 month old, am married, and my husband has a good job- But it's not always easy. Your age does make it harder, but it's NOT impossible. It can be done. :) There is NO "good time" to have a baby, and anyone who says "We're waiting till we're financially stable" will likely never have a baby. You're never financially set for a baby.

I have a feeling your relationship isn't going to work out, and please don't stay together for the baby because it's going to cause more drama. Have a seriouse talk with him and tell him how you feel, he needs to understand that once this baby comes he can't go and hang out with his friends whenever he pleases. I'd be more concerned with Damian, since that was the name of the Antichrist in all of "The Omen" movies. There's great potential for negative association there. However, it means "to tame" in Greek, and is also the name of the patron saint of barbers, pharmacists and those who work with chemicals.

Honestly Liam and Damian have been on the top 1000 List for the past 3 years. As for Taven I think it's adorable though it does sound a bit more feminine in my opinion. Also Dion is cute but I think it's a bit more feminine now too (though it originally was unisex). Maybe Deon would be a more masculine spelling (like Deon Sanders) As for Lilith I don't feel the same. I think it's a bit too out-dated and Lilian or Lilah would be more suitable. A name is a name whether or not you are black or white or anything else shouldn't matter. I think all of your boys names are very multicultural and Lilah would be a nice multicultural name for a girl. Don't worry what your family thinks because honestly everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Once your little one gets here you will see their opinions will change. I had the same reaction when I told my family I wanted to name my son Braxton Dominic (I am more than 75% European (White)) I did change my son's name once he was born simply because he did not look like a Braxton Dominic to me and you may do the same. I ended up naming my son Brody Nathaniel (He is Mexican %26amp; White) which suits him very nicely.
In the end it's your child so people just have to deal with whatever you decide to name him/her. As long as it's nothing insulting or just plain ridiculous (Which none of your names are) then I don't see a problem with it.

Honestly Liam and Damian have been on the top 1000 List for the past 3 years. As for Taven I think it's adorable though it does sound a bit more feminine in my opinion. Also Dion is cute but I think it's a bit more feminine now too (though it originally was unisex). Maybe Deon would be a more masculine spelling (like Deon Sanders) As for Lilith I don't feel the same. I think it's a bit too out-dated and Lilian or Lilah would be more suitable. A name is a name whether or not you are black or white or anything else shouldn't matter. I think all of your boys names are very multicultural and Lilah would be a nice multicultural name for a girl. Don't worry what your family thinks because honestly everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Once your little one gets here you will see their opinions will change. I had the same reaction when I told my family I wanted to name my son Braxton Dominic (I am more than 75% European (White)) I did change my son's name once he was born simply because he did not look like a Braxton Dominic to me and you may do the same. I ended up naming my son Brody Nathaniel (He is Mexican %26amp; White) which suits him very nicely.
In the end it's your child so people just have to deal with whatever you decide to name him/her. As long as it's nothing insulting or just plain ridiculous (Which none of your names are) then I don't see a problem with it.
