Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. Is this normal, will it happen throughout my pregnancy?

Last week I had a small amout of pinkish discharge after sex, no cramping. Now I am paranoid to have sex because I am afaid of harming the baby. I know that this can be normal but will this continue to happen throughout my pregnancy? I don't have an appoitment with my ob-gyn for 2 more weeks.Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. Is this normal, will it happen throughout my pregnancy?Happened to me until week 14. I was told it was from sex the first time (at 9 weeks) and we were told not to have intercourse until week 13. So we didn't but I still bled and spotted. I went to the doctor everytime and it turned out I had a vaginal infection that was causing it. I was put on antibiotics and finally I quit bleeding around week 14. It is a very scary situation but normal.I suggest going to your doctor and see what they say.Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. Is this normal, will it happen throughout my pregnancy?
Any bleeding in pregnancy would not be considered 'normal'. My advice is to wait to make love again until after you meet with your OBGYN; if possible, see if you can get in sooner. If you explain the situation, they will most likely move your appointment up.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

There are complications in pregnancy for which bleeding after intercourse may be a symptom. Although you are very early in your pregnancy to be experiencing most of these complications (i.e. placenta previa), if there is an error in your dates, or if you are the 'one in a million', if there is an infection, etc., it's better to exercise caution. Again, bleeding in pregnancy - even after normal sex - is not normal.Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. As long as it is not heavy bleeding you are fine...even a little cramping after sex is normal too. Sex is fine when you are pregnant just try to go a little slower no "wham bam, thank you mams" :) Im 16weeks and every time I have sex i have a little cramping the next day.Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. you should call your ob and report this. any bleeding or spotting should be told to your doctor. a lot of woman do have this happen and it causes no problems at all, but you should still give the office a call and talk it over with at least a nurse. the doctor may say youre fine and not to worry, or they may tell you to be on pelvic rest (no sex)Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. I would give your doctor a buzz just for peace of mind.Light bleeding after sex and 7 weeks pregnant. Is this normal, will it happen throughout my pregnancy?
you could have just irritated your cervix. It doesnt mean it'll happen everytime for the rest of your pregnancy though.
