This is good information to check into, however, don't allow yourself to be too complacent. Given the rate of sexual assault, I would think that you could safely assume that there IS a sex offender in your neighborhood, whether they have been caught and registered yet or not. I don't mean to sound like doom and gloom, but we need to be continually vigilant.
