We're adopting my cousin's baby. We don't know the gender yet, we haven't got a certain boys name in mind.
But, we quite like the name Charlotta Tomlinson.
It's the german version of Charlotte %26amp; it was my great grandma's name.
What do What do you think of this name? What would you rate it out of 10? What type of girl do you imagine having this name?
If we use this name, we think we need a short but sweet middle name.
Any suggestions?
Also, do you think Zoey and Charlotta sound good in a sibset?

As for the name Charlotta, it's gorgeous, but I think it sound too long with your surname. What about Georgia Eve Tomlinson or Georgia Charlie Tomlinson? A little girl named Charlotta I imagine to be stern, smart, and gorgeous, and look something like this:

Zoey Elise is beautiful! Sounds like an really outgoing, student council, type person. Also sounds like someone who is artistic.

I am also German, and I have to say that they pick the strangest names. I really like the name Charolette better than Charlotta. You can call her Chari (Sh-are-ee), which is also a german name. Charolette also goes better with most of the boys names I listed above.

Zoey Elise is ok but Zoey is over-used. I would give it an 8. I can imagine a girl who is popular but kind of shy. As far as the name Charlotta, I knew a girl who had that name she was a huge loud mouth cuss like a sailor and then go to church on Sunday black woman so I dont think highly of the name. Im not crazy about any of the names with Charlotta I would give it a 3. I can imagine her to be exactly as I described above. sorry
Zoey Elise Tomlinson ~ [9/10] The type of girl I would imagine with this name is someone sweet and nice.
Charlotta ~ [5/10] I'd much prefer Charlotte, it sounds more solid but it's up to you. Maybe Charlotta June? Charlotta Aria[ah-rea], Charlotta Georgia doesn't sound like too much, maybe it seems that way because both names end with an 'a' Charlotte Georgia sounds more complete, but I'm just suggesting.

I think Zoey Elise Tomlinson is a bit of a mouthful to say. Maybe you could use Zoey Jane Tomlinson or something similar? And I also think Charlotta Georgia Tomlinson is a mouthful to say. Maybe you could use Charlotte Georgia or Charlotte Elise. Maybe you could even use Zoey Georgia.
I really like Zoey Elise! She would is going to be born on my birthday! Very excited! Congrats!
As for Charlotta, I prefer Charlotte. Then you can do Charlotte Georgia. That would sound better. Maybe nickname her Charlie/Charlee. That's just what i prefer. Good luck! You will have your hands full!
I would choose: "Lilly Olivia Tomlinson" or "Lilly Eleanor Tomlinson"
But I like "Charlotta Georgia Tomlinson" better than "Zoey Elise Tomlinson" - I don't think Zoey Elise sounds so good together nor do I like Zoey spelt that way, I prefer 'Zoe.'

Zoey Elise is a lovely name 9/10
I SERIOUSLY do not think that you should honor the biological mother by using her name! This is an Adopted child who will be raised with a slightly older sister who is a Biological offspring of their
parents. No matter how loving and fair you are, there is the potential problem of the adopted child feeling that she doesn't belong to you "as much" as her sister. So giving her the name of a mother other than YOU would be highly damaging....Highly. I Strongly believe that her middle name should be YOUR first or middle name or the female version of Your Husband's first or middle name. For her to have that connection to Her Parents would make an extremely important statement to this child. It dosen't matter if you have the ugliest name; Honor this child with her parents' names. This is so much more important than honoring Georgia......And Georgia definitely deserves to be honored, loved and cherished by you for her lifetime.
Charlotta is gorgeous. Love it ! (After all of the above, Georgia doesn't go with it anyway lol)
Zoey Elise.....I have both on my shortlist and they flow well, Zoey with the energy and laughter, and Elise with calm sophistication.
