Are these names kinda weird for boys and girls in this decade?

If I were to have a baby in the within this decade (2011-2021), would these names be weird? I don't know why, but they sound godly....to me!

Liam

Taven

Damian

Dion

And for my girl name

Lilith.

I know Dion is supposed to sound godly cause he's a god and I know all about Lilith, but I don't really know much about the other names. Would these be good for this decade? Also, do you guys like the names? And I'm black. Like, if I had an african american husband, and my baby came out fully black, would the names be weird for the baby? I don't think it'll make a difference, I just wanna know how you guys think. My family judges these things....:(Are these names kinda weird for boys and girls in this decade?
No, not at all. You have to give your kid the name you like. It doesn't matter what the color of their skin is. Don't listen to their preaching.

Edit: Forgot to talk about the names, my bad.

Liam -- It sounds more like a nickname. I completely love William, but the common nickname for that is Will. However, someone completely ruined this name for me. I give it a five out of ten.

Taven -- This name is one letter off of tavern. but it sounds nice. I give it a seven out of ten.

Damian -- I love this name to death. Ten out of ten.

Dion -- It sounds nice, I give it an eight out of ten.

Lilith -- I love this name! I like the nickname Lily, not to mention Lily is my favorite girl name. Ten out of ten.

Overall, I love your taste in names. Good luck. ~
I wouldn't suggest using Tavern on anybody. The others are fine :) Nope! I don't think it would be weird, there are black people with the names Ava,Shannon, and Ariel so I don't think it has anything to do with raceAre these names kinda weird for boys and girls in this decade?
Yes. They all would be considered weird this decade except Liam.
i love the name Liam! Are these names kinda weird for boys and girls in this decade?
Taven is really cute!! But I'd use it for a girl!! :)
I love the name Liam. It's a shortened form of William (Germanic: "will, helmet, protection") and means "my people" in Hebrew. Be aware, if your family tends to be culturally insensitive, that Liam is traditionally considered an Irish name.

I'd be more concerned with Damian, since that was the name of the Antichrist in all of "The Omen" movies. There's great potential for negative association there. However, it means "to tame" in Greek, and is also the name of the patron saint of barbers, pharmacists and those who work with chemicals.

You can easily find information on the derivation and meaning of names by Googling them. There are so many baby name sites on the Web, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. :) Best of luck.
Honestly Liam and Damian have been on the top 1000 List for the past 3 years. As for Taven I think it's adorable though it does sound a bit more feminine in my opinion. Also Dion is cute but I think it's a bit more feminine now too (though it originally was unisex). Maybe Deon would be a more masculine spelling (like Deon Sanders) As for Lilith I don't feel the same. I think it's a bit too out-dated and Lilian or Lilah would be more suitable. A name is a name whether or not you are black or white or anything else shouldn't matter. I think all of your boys names are very multicultural and Lilah would be a nice multicultural name for a girl. Don't worry what your family thinks because honestly everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Once your little one gets here you will see their opinions will change. I had the same reaction when I told my family I wanted to name my son Braxton Dominic (I am more than 75% European (White)) I did change my son's name once he was born simply because he did not look like a Braxton Dominic to me and you may do the same. I ended up naming my son Brody Nathaniel (He is Mexican %26amp; White) which suits him very nicely.

In the end it's your child so people just have to deal with whatever you decide to name him/her. As long as it's nothing insulting or just plain ridiculous (Which none of your names are) then I don't see a problem with it.

Hope this Helps

Good Luck %26amp; Best Wishes =)
